At Bethencourt Bakehouse, we bake fresh, naturally leavened bread in small batches to ensure the highest quality. Because great sourdough takes time, we work on a preorder basis to minimize waste and bring you the freshest bread possible.

We're currently testing our new oven and getting a feel for what people love. In the meantime, you can find us at pop-up events every Saturday at noon at Eve & Murray’s in West Acton. We’ve been selling out fast, so come early if you’d like to grab some bread.

Soon we will start with the pre-orders to be ready every friday. 

This is how it will work:

1.- Preorders Open Every Saturday – Place your order starting Saturday for the upcoming baking.
2.-  Order by Wednesday Night – The ordering window closes Wednesday evening so we can start the slow fermentation process.
3.- Freshly Baked on Friday – Your bread is carefully prepared, naturally leavened, and baked to perfection.
4.- Pick Up on Friday Afternoon – Swing by our bakehouse in Acton, MA, to pick up your fresh sourdough.

This model allows us to focus on quality over quantity, reduce food waste, and ensure you get the best handcrafted bread possible.

Ready to reserve your loaf? Preorders will open every Saturday as soon as we are ready to go. Our oven is scheduled to be delivred on May 20th, so after we have a few days to cure the stones and go through the final inspections, we are aiming ot have our first offer on May 30th.
